The Sleepy Cat Guest Ranch and Restaurant are famous thoughout the United States for excellent food and friendly, informal, relaxing atmosphere. Most of the cabins and the original restaurant were built in 1946. That original restaurant burned in 1990 and the new
one was then built.

There are 15 log, rustic but modern, rental cabins, 6 are duplexes, with full kitchens and bathrooms.
There are 6 motel rooms and a 5 year old 2,800 sq. ft., 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom managers residence.
The liquor store is the only one east of Meeker on the Scenic Byway. Also on the property is a laundry building with storage rooms, a log garage with a shop and storage, an open faced 5 bay vehicle storage shed, two other storage sheds, and a corral.
This is a very good, well established business. The “place to go” when you’re in NW Colorado.
In the 1998 fiscal year which ends June 30th, gross sales were $915,000.00. Most of the sales take place in the summer and fall with winter being the slower season. There is great potential for more winter time snowmobile and cross country skiing activity.
This is a great family business and would also make a very good private or corporate retreat.
