Meeker is the county seat of Rio Blanco County, Colorado. The County reaches east to west 108 miles from the forested mountain peaks of the White River National Forest to the oil-rich sand hills along the county's western borders. Thirty miles north to south, the county encompasses an area as large as that of Rhode Island
and Delaware combined, but incorporates only two towns, ... Meeker and Rangely.
