Very secluded and private 80 acres, 13 miles south of Meeker, up Flagg
Creek. This mountainous property is heavily wooded with Aspen, Spruce, Pine
and Fir trees. The valleys have Cottonwoods, Oakbrush, Serviceberry, Sagebrush,
Chokecherry, Rose, Blueberry, Raspberry and Currant bushes. Animal
species living on and around the property include Elk, Mule Deer, Black
Bear, Wild Turkey, Mountain Lions, Bobcat, Coyotes, Fox, and many other
small animals, rodents and birds.
There is a small cabin on the property, a nice 30' by 40' metal shop
with a concrete floor, a meat cooling house for hanging Elk and Deer, and
a generator/well house. Power is supplied by a very effecient, propane powered,
on demand generator.
Goff Creek runs through the property
year around. Goff Spring supplies the well with plenty of water even in
the dry years. There are numerous springs in this valley. This property
has access, through an adjacent land owner, to a very private part of the
White River National Forest. East Flagg Creek, which originates up in the
Forest, provides great trout fishing.
The Elk and Mule Deer hunting is superb in this area.
Property Taxes are $82.00 per year.
