Winter Activities
Winter is a special time at Adams Lodge, quiet and beautiful.
Cross country ski on wilderness trails, snowmobile on groomed
and marked forest trails or snowshoe into the back country. You
may enjoy relaxing in front of the fireplace, feeding the wild
turkeys that spend the winter with us, or watching the chickadees
and other small birds as they come to the feeder for a free meal.
You will often see elk on the hillsides. A perfect place for a
couple, family or small group to enjoy a few days in the snow.
Fully modern cabins
at the ranch have fireplaces, queen sized beds and are cozy and
comfortable. You can snowmobile or ski from your doorstep or drive
a short distance to several trailheads. Fully equipped kitchens
make it easy to prepare dinner in your cabin. Relaxing in the
Hot Tub is a great way to end a day of playing in the snow.
The West Marvine
Camp, 5.2 miles from the ranch is a favorite "get away".
This camp is fully equipped for winter time camping and you will
find it cozy and comfortable. A nice place for a couple or a group
of four to enjoy the serenity of the White River National Forest
with a wonderful view and no other people. You will need your
sleeping bag and food, we will pack it into camp for you while
you enjoy the trip into camp on your own snowmobile, skis or snowshoes.
